Riders will tackle the second edition of the hardest race of the GFNY USA calendar

New York City, September 17, 2026 – The second edition of Michelob ULTRA GFNY Pittsburgh-Monroeville will take place this Sunday, September 20, bringing riders back to Western Pennsylvania for the toughest race on the GFNY USA calendar. The challenging 63.1-mile long course features 6,890 feet of climbing, with relentless hills that will test riders from start to finish.

“We’re grateful to Pittsburgh Sports & Exhibition Authority and Visit Monroeville for supporting Michelob ULTRA GFNY Pittsburgh-Monroeville and helping us grow the event in Western Pennsylvania,” says GFNY President Lidia Fluhme. “This is a race that showcases both the character of the region and the kind of serious sporting challenge GFNY riders are looking for. We’re excited to build on the first edition together and establish Pittsburgh-Monroeville as one of the standout races on our U.S. calendar.”

Race weekend festivities begin Friday at CCAC Boyce Campus, which will serve as the central hub for pre-race activities, including packet pickup, the GFNY Expo and social events. Riders and spectators can enjoy the race weekend atmosphere leading up to Sunday’s competition.

Highlights include the GFNY Pittsburgh-Monroeville Group Rides on Friday and Saturday, giving participants the opportunity to connect with fellow riders, preview the local roads and prepare for race day.
