GFNY returns to Central Florida for its 7th edition with a new course and the addition of Michelob ULTRA GFNY Florida Hardee 5k Run presented by Advent Health

New York City, October 22, 2026  –  Michelob ULTRA GFNY Florida Hardee returns to Central Florida this Sunday, October 25, for its seventh edition. The event features a new cycling course and the inaugural Michelob ULTRA GFNY Florida Hardee 5K Run presented by AdventHealth, expanding race weekend for both cyclists and runners.

The long competitive course covers 85 miles (137 km) with just 820 ft (250 m) of climbing, offering riders a fast course where strategy and teamwork will determine the outcome. Cyclists looking for a shorter challenge can take on the 46-mile (73.9 km) recreational medium course with 450 ft (137 m) of climbing.

“We’re excited to begin a new chapter in Hardee County and continue growing GFNY Florida together with an incredibly welcoming community,” said Lidia Fluhme, President of GFNY. “The new course offers a fast and exciting race for cyclists, while the inaugural Michelob ULTRA GFNY Florida Hardee 5K Run presented by AdventHealth expands the weekend beyond cycling and gives even more athletes and families the opportunity to be part of the GFNY experience.”

Multi-sport athletes can take on the GFNY Florida Hardee Double by completing both the 5K run and the cycling race over race weekend. Finishers of both events will earn two finishes toward the GFNY 3×2026 medal.

All race weekend activities—including packet pickup, race start, post-race party, awards ceremony, and expo—will take place at the Hardee County Agri-Civic Center. Riders will also have the opportunity to join the official GFNY Group Rides on Friday and Saturday before race day.
